How To Transfer Files Using Dreamweaver

Download Files From the Remote Server using Dreamweaver

1. In the Files panel, select the files you wish to download.

2. To download the file, click the Get button on the Files panel.

3. Click Yes on the pop-up when asked if dependent files should be included in the transfer.

4. Select Local View. Files transferred should be reflected. Double-clicking the file will open the file up for editing.

Click Cancel in the Background File Activity dialog box if you wish to stop the file transfer at any time. Click the File Activity button in the Files panel If dialog box does not display.

To move multiple files:

1. Select multiple files by holding the Ctrl key as you click on each file.

2. Files can be downloaded by clicking the Get button.

3. Click No on the pop-up when asked if dependent files should be included in the transfer.
