How To Transfer Files Using Dreamweaver Print

To get files from your remote server:

1. In the Files panel, select the files you wish to download. You may want to change from Local View to Remote Server to view these files.  

2. Click the Get button from the Files panel to download the file.

3. Click Yes on the pop-up when asked if dependent files should be included in the transfer.

4. Select Local View. Files transferred should be reflected. Double-clicking the file will open the file up for editing.

Click Cancel in the Background File Activity dialog box if you wish to stop the file transfer at any time. If the dialog box is not on display, click the File Activity button in the Files panel.

To move multiple files:

1. Select multiple files by holding the Ctrl and clicking on each file.

2. Download selected files by clicking the Get button.

3. Click No on the pop-up when asked if dependent files should be included in the transfer.

Transferred files will be displayed when moving over from Remote Server to Local View.

To upload files to your remote server: 

1. In the Files panel, select the files you wish to upload.

2. Click the Put button from the Files panel.

3. Click Yes on the pop-up when asked if dependent files should be included in the transfer.
